1969 Triumph TR6C Trophy
The penultimate dry-framed Triumph big street scrambler, the 650 Trophy never fails to make an impressive display of itself. While the model carried on for a few more years after the ’69 model year, the ’70 model (though still highly desirable) wore the polarizing Spring Gold paint scheme, while the two subsequent model years were carried in Triumph’s then-new oil in frame chassis, which, like it or loathe it, failed to capture the elegant simplicity of the classic Triumph lines. This particular matching numbers machine has undergone a full restoration some 8,000 miles ago, which means most of the “break-in” should be done by now. A classic to admire or ride. The choice is yours, it’s a win-win.
