2023 Royal Enfield Scram 411 "The Hedgehog"

The Scram 411 has always been an unsung hero - the approachability of the original 411 D series motor wrapped in a road-friendly-but-trail-ready chassis combined with upgraded fueling and build quality were mistakenly perceived as less "hardcore" by the majority of buyers hoping to travel the world on their little thumpers.  As often happens when reality hits, though, most owners found the Scram was nearly every bit as good off-road as the Himalayan and even better on road.  Lighter weight and a lower price point meant this should have been a winner.  Under represented, under supported, it just never quite took off, though the owners will tell you, it's the preferred bike...sometimes by a longshot.

When we were given the opportunity to collaborate with our friends Hedgehog Motorcycles in France on this project, we chose the Scram to bring their rally vision to life.  Fresh Bridgestone tires add superior offroad grip so any second guessing about its gravel and dirt chops can be put to rest, the addition of a center stand and heated grips enhance the real world usability, and that gorgeous Scorpion muffler lets this little baby sing, sing, sing.  Low miles, fully serviced, and totally one-of-a-kind.  And, at the end of the day, just a damn good motorcycle that doesn't need to compromise.
