2009 Buell 1125CR
The last gasp of American motorcycling? Possibly. I mean, yeah, the Motor Factory is still squeamishly turning out a variety of mis-matched bikes to attract a non-interested public, and that group up in Minnesota is putting vintage decals all over their bikes, but has there really been a true American motorcycle since Buell was shuttered? Like something that actually tried to raise the bar? This was it, I think. Having only covered 1700 miles since new, one owner, this thing is clean as a whistle. It’s a testament to a vision. It’s an American V-Twin naked roadster.
