1968 Triumph T100C Tiger Competition
1968 found the nearly-decade old unit construction twin featuring myriad detail changes over the previous year (the parts department’s favorite phrase – “They’re all the same!” – is a recipe for disaster!). One of the interesting things about the “C” (Export) or “SC” (home market) models, for instance, is highlighted here with the two-tone Aquamarine and Silver Sheen tank-top and tool box transfers: the designation as “Tiger Competition” versus the more commonly known, later years “Trophy 500.” Fitted with a tachometer drive and tachometer (likely installed by the original dealer at the customer’s request), this particular matching-numbers model bears few scars despite its “competition”
moniker. We will perform a full service and fluid change at the time of sale. A very neat little 500!
