Bonneville. Just say it. It just captures the essence of the feeling of motorcycling. It rolls off the tongue, but not lazily. It just sounds like speed and elegance. I’ve been doing this for awhile now, and I still get a little awe-struck by ’70 Bonnies. A case can be made for every year of T120, but I think almost unanimously the herd will agree the the 1970 Bonneville with its Astral Red and Silver, dual ram’s horn paint job, dry frame, and massive twin leading shoe front brake is the ultimate Bonnie.
This bike has undergone a sensible restoration several years back. Now outfitted with lighter alloy rims, this is a Bonnie meant to ride. Matching numbers, but unmatched pedigree. Bonneville.
